Bio
Yoga is part of my self-care that keeps me happy and healthy. I am a self-disciplined individual whether it be on or off my mat. I turned to yoga to balance my many miles of running and to mix up my daily workouts. I found SWEAT in February 2017 and was hooked not only on the Vinyasa style yoga for what it did for my mind and body but the community at SWEAT. I have completed the RYT 200 hour SWEAT Self-Discovery Yoga Teacher Training and RYT 200 hour Baptiste Institute Expand Your Power Training. I am trained in hands-on assisting through the Baptiste Institute. In 2022 I completed the Mindful Communities 120-hr Teacher Training at SWEAT to deepen my yoga practice. When I hear I have guided just one person down a path of a self-care “routine” it lights me up inside.
Off my mat I am a retired Accounts Payable Manager for a global manufacturing company. I am a wife and mother to one adult son. I enjoy a nice glass of wine and home cooked meals with my family on the weekends and maybe even a game of cribbage to round out the night.
