Bio
In my experience, yoga is a way of being. It allows me to live into service, act in kindness, and hold space for possibility.
I have always led an active lifestyle and find power vinyasa yoga to be the perfect balance of self-care and physicality. I deeply value my role in being of service to the SWEAT community and offering you ways to find a new edge and embrace possibility in your practice. It lights me up to share time with you in joy; authentic expression; and powerful, intentional movement.
I am the Studio Manager and a teacher at SWEAT Power Yoga. I began my yoga journey when I found SWEAT in January 2018. I fell in love with the community and have since completed the RYT 200-hour SWEAT Self-Discovery Yoga Teacher Training and the RYT 200-hour Baptiste Institute Expand Your Power training. I am also a Level 1 certified TRX Yoga Instructor. I am trained in myofascial compression techniques, hands-on assisting, and meditation.
My commitment to you is to share my true self with you every time I step into the studio. I am here to learn and practice alongside you every pose; every breath.
Off the mat, I am a friend, family-lover, and Minister of Music at my church. I love waterfall hikes, dark chocolate, intentional connection, and deep conversations. It is likely you will find me with my journal and a hot tea/coffee in my rest time (yes, hot, even in the summer because iced coffee is weird and there are some Southern roots that will not die, y’all.)
